Description
Developed in Timperley in Cheshire before the Second World War, this early variety has been used commercially ever since 1947 both for forcing and for an outdoor crop. It is a reliable easy to grow variety which has a good colour and flavour. It will also grow happily in a large container. Good all round rhubarb in the kitchen.
